Job Summary

NQA has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Finance Team. This role is key to ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of customer payments, invoicing, and Direct Debit collections. NQA provides accredited certification, training and support services to help customers improve processes, performance and products and services. We have issued over 50,000 certificates to clients in over 90 countries resulting in a yearly revenue of around 100 million Euro. NQA was acquired by Kiwa in 2024, a global leader in the Testing, Inspecting and Certification (TIC) sector, based in the Netherlands.

About the role

  • Cash Application: Process bank statements and allocate customer payments accurately. Investigate and resolve unallocated cash, including requesting remittances and issuing refunds where necessary. 
  • Direct Debits: Prepare and manage Direct Debit collection runs in line with agreed timetables. Enter new Direct Debit instructions or amendments received from customers or the bank.
  • Invoicing: Raise and distribute invoices and credit notes promptly, ensuring compliance with month-end cut-off deadlines.
  • Account Queries: Monitor the accounts inbox, respond to queries in a timely manner, and investigate and resolve customer issues effectively. 
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, including cash receipts, credit note requests, and Direct Debit instructions.
  • Month-End Close: Support month-end processes, including posting journals. 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role. 
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Highly organised and methodical in approach.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Proactive with a positive attitude towards working with others.
  • Knowledge of Direct Debit scheme and requirements.
