Job Summary

NQA is seeking a dynamic Business Development Advisor to join their Commercial Sales team. In this role, you will drive growth by promoting NQA’s services and securing new business opportunities. You’ll develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, assessors, and consultants, providing excellent customer service while achieving monthly and annual sales targets. NQA provides accredited certification, training and support services to help customers improve processes, performance and products and services. We have issued over 50,000 certificates to clients in over 90 countries resulting in a yearly revenue of around 100 million Euro. NQA was acquired by Kiwa in 2024, a global leader in the Testing, Inspecting and Certification (TIC) sector, based in the Netherlands. This is remote role based with expected travel to our Dunstable office and some national travel.

About the role

  • Achieve individual and team sales targets, including Certification and Training targets, and support colleagues to meet their targets set by the Commercial Director.
  • Complete activities in line with sales and marketing campaigns as required by the Sales Manager.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients to increase initial and retention revenue.
  • Record all sales leads and activities in NQA’s CRM tool in line with sales team processes.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing consultants to increase quotes and sales conversions.
  • Support the Sales Manager with exhibitions and events across the UK as needed.
  • Engage with new and existing clients to expand the client base.
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, sales, and transactions using Salesforce.
  • Carry out general administration duties associated with the role.

  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Highly motivated and target driven. 
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet challenging deadlines. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook) and tools such as DropBox and Salesforce.
  • Understanding of the market in which NQA UK operates (desirable).
