Job Summary
In this pivotal 12 month Fixed-Term Contract role based in Cheltenham, you will guide Kiwa Energy in its strategic direction and supporting sustainable, safe growth during a key transitional period. As a dynamic and results-focused leader, you’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence, empowering high-performing teams, and ensuring continuity of leadership. - Provide day-to-day leadership of the UK Business Unit, reporting directly to the UK CEO.
- Collaborate with the UK CEO to shape and deliver growth-focused strategies that achieve business targets.
- Drive sustainable growth through a rolling 48-month business plan, robust financial governance and clear reporting.
- Foster long-term customer and stakeholder relationships built on trust, value, and collaboration.
- Lead and develop a capable, motivated team, ensuring career development, meaningful appraisals, and talent retention.
- Champion a culture of openness, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teams.
- Promote cross-cluster collaboration and identify commercial opportunities within Kiwa and SHV networks.
- Lead with vision, energy, and integrity to inspire innovation, empower teams, and maintain Kiwa’s position as an industry leader.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, ideally within the Energy market.
- Experience in a project driven consultancy environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and transparent reporting.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
- Proven success in building and leading diverse, high-performing teams, including recruitment, mentoring and succession planning.
- Passionate about employee engagement, wellbeing, and maintaining safe, supportive working environments.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the ability to influence stakeholders and customers at all levels.
- Experience in cross-selling and collaboration across business units or regions.
What can you expect from us in return?
- 12 Month FTC
- £80,000 per annum
- £7,843.50 Car Allowance
- Generous Annual Leave – Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, hybrid working pattern (3 to 4 days in the office each week).
