Job Summary
Kiwa Product Compliance (KPC) is seeking a results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead their full sales cycle, manage a dynamic pipeline, and drive revenue across our specialist compliance services. Based at our Aylesbury office, you’ll take ownership of annual sales targets and work in close collaboration with the Head of Sales to shape commercial strategy, support business development, and expand our market reach.About the role
- Lead sales operations at our Aylesbury site, managing the Account Management team.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting in collaboration with the Head of Sales.
- Develop strategic sales plans to drive growth and meet annual revenue targets.
- Oversee the CRM system and ensure accurate tracking of all customer quotations, from lead to delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Kiwa Product Compliance and Kiwa Electrical Compliance.
- Build and manage Key and Growth accounts, directly and through the mentoring of the team.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align sales activity with digital campaigns, webinars and trade events.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and the Kiwa Global Business Sector to unlock global opportunities.
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure regular appraisals, performance feedback, and development support for direct reports.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience working in Testing, Inspection or Certification, ideally within electrical compliance.
- Experience in B2B sales, team management and leadership.
- Skilled in managing expectations across customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong client negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
- Ability to influence and engage colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Proficient in IT tools (D365, Microsoft Office etc.).
- Commercially aware, with an eye for market trends and growth opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
What can you expect from us in return?
- £60,000 per annum
- £5,880 Car Allowance
- Generous Annual Leave – Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, hybrid working (2 days working from the office, 3 days homeworking) with some travel required
