Job Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant/ Credit Controller to join our UK Accounts Receivable team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This position is based in Aylesbury with hybrid working.About the role
- Perform credit control activities, securing prompt payment from our customers in line with terms, minimizing overdue balances and bad debt
- Liaise between the Business Units’ Commercial Teams and Customers to resolve any disputes in a proactive, professional and supportive manner
- Issue customer statements, reconcile accounts and proactively liaise with key customer accounts
- Post cash receipts from customers
- Investigate any unidentified/unallocated payment to minimize unallocated cash
- Raise journals in Finance Operating Systems
- Reconcile credit card receipts to appropriate ledgers
- Maintain shared email in-boxes in co-ordination with other team members
- Contributing to reporting and ledger updates with AR Team Lead and Business Units
- Maintaining and ensuring correct customer master data
Do you have what it takes?
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control
- General knowledge of accounting processes
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
What can you expect from us in return?
- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
- £28,500 - £30,500 per annum

- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)
