Job Summary

Kiwa Agri Food are recruiting auditors for the Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops (TASCC) owned by Agriculture Industries Confederation. Kiwa is a dynamic audit and certification body based in Harrogate and we are looking for self-employed individuals on a subcontracted basis. With a competitive audit fee and excellent support from a dedicated team, you will assist in the auditing against industry standards, writing detailed reports and providing technical support to the sector. Candidates should possess a strong willingness to travel, as the role will involve visiting various sites across the UK.

About the role

  • Conducting thorough, complete, and technically competent assessments to determine a company’s compliance with the TASCC scheme.
  • Report into and work closely with the TASCC Scheme Manager
  • Create strong relationships with customers and scheme owners ensuring ongoing business.
  • Update and maintain records and reports in electronic systems.
  • Attend meetings, training seminars, shows and events as required.
  • Ensure the quality of the service we offer.
  • Maintain technical knowledge via continual professional development and develop knowledge of other areas in the sector.

This role is based in the UK ideally in the following locations:

  • ROI and Northern Ireland
  • North West of England, Cumbria and surrounding areas
  • Chester and into North Wales
  • Southwest of England into Cornwall/Devon

Do you have what it takes?

  • Valid driver’s license and willing to travel around UK.
  • Commercial experience within the agricultural supply, agriculture, or food industries.
  • HACCP training (essential).
  • Lead Assessor qualification is desirable.
  • A working understanding of feed/food safety issues.
  • A working understanding of quality systems and preferably experience in an inspection role.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of typical IT tools (Microsoft Office, etc).
  • Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, practicality, reliability, flexibility, and results oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal relations at all levels.
  • Be able to work under own initiative
