Job Summary
BASEC, part of the Kiwa UK group, are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Operations Administrator to provide administrative support to our BASEC laboratory and manage company-wide invoicing. This is an office-based position, located in Milton Keynes.About the role
- Manage laboratory administration, including raising job packs, updating sample statuses and checking completed test reports.
- Coordinate with Technicians, Certification & Commercial Teams in relation to reports, client queries and sample selections.
- Liaise with Logistics Technicians to ensure samples are received correctly and ready to test.
- Load jobs into the BASEC management system.
- Create failure records in our sales system, SalesForce.
- Archive laboratory paperwork and electronic documents.
- Liaise with import agents for clearing goods.
- Assist the Senior Operations Administrator with invoicing activities.
- Raise purchase orders.
- Manage external training, laboratory supply orders, and sub-contracted testing.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in an administrative environment.
- Strong organisation and project management expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and motivated attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality responsibilities.
What can you expect from us in return?
- £29,500 per annum

- 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, office-based role (Monday-Thursday 8.15am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12:30pm)
