Job Summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is hiring a proactive Technical Recruiter to source, assess, and manage candidates, building strong talent pipelines for technology and other key roles. This role acts as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and project teams, supports onboarding, maintains accurate records, and contributes to improving recruitment processes. The Technical Recruiter will manage job postings, develop job descriptions, and assist with strategic recruiting initiatives while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

About the role

Summary
The Technical Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned requisitions, from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding transition. This role partners with hiring managers, business leaders, and operational stakeholders to define staffing needs, execute sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality talent pipelines that support both corporate and client-facing workforce demands.

 

Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, from intake through offer and onboarding handoff
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to define role requirements, workforce needs, and hiring priorities
• Assist hiring managers with the development of job descriptions for new positions as needed
• Recruit for corporate, technical, engineering, inspection, auditing, consulting, and project-based roles
• Source and attract candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, direct outreach, databases, and other sourcing channels
• Screen and assess candidates through resume review, phone screens, and structured interviews
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers
• Format candidate resumes meet internal, client, and project-specific requirements
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Build and maintain talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
• Facilitate clear and timely communication with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders throughout the process
• Prepare offer recommendations in partnership with hiring managers and HR
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Create and update job postings across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with internal standards and branding guidelines
• Track recruiting activity and key metrics, including time-to-fill and source effectiveness
• Support employer branding, recruiting events, job fairs, and talent marketing initiatives
• Conduct basic market research and provide insights on talent availability and compensation trends

Do you have what it takes?

Required
• Contribute to process improvements, recruiting initiatives, and special projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and recruiting best practices
• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
• Experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and similar platforms
• Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to track recruiting metrics and generate insights
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
• Proficiency with ATS systems and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

 

Desired
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience recruiting across corporate, technical, engineering, inspection, auditing, consulting, or professional services environments.
• Experience with ATS platforms such as iCIMS and/or Workday.
• Professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, or equivalent).
