BRL K14101 version 2025 declared binding

The new BRL K14101 "Hygienic aspects for Products in contact with drinking and hot water" has been declared binding as of 7th of July 2025.

BRL K14100 version 2025 declared binding

The new BRL K14100 for the Kiwa product certificate for "General requirements for products in contact with drinking and hot tap water" has been declared binding as of 7th of July 2025.

BRL 9208-2 version 2025 declared binding

A revised version of BRL 9208-2 for the Kiwa product certificate for "Pipes and fittings with smooth inner and structured outer wall for non-pressure underground sewerage made of PP or PE - Specific requirements" has been declared binding as of 27 June 2025.

BRL 9208-1 version 2025 declared binding

A revised version of BRL 9208-1 for the Kiwa product certificate for "Pipes and fittings with smooth, structured wall for non-pressure underground sewerage made of PVC-U or PP - Specific requirements" has been declared binding as of 27 June 2025.

BRL K17105 declared binding

A revised version of BRL K17105 for the Kiwa product certificate for “Plastics piping systems of polyethylene for the transport of drinking water and raw water” has been declared binding as of 17 June 2025.

BRL-K746 has been updated

An updated version of BRL-K746 (Kiwa process certificate for the application of coating systems on metal surfaces of drinking water installation) is published (effective as per 21 March 2025).

BRL-K14027 published for criticism

Effective February 2, 2025 the newly drawn up BRL-K14027 is published for review and comments. BRL-K14027 contains the requirements for a product certificate for " Ductile iron pipes and couplings for wastewater”.

Termination BRL 2003

There have been no valid certificates for BRL 2003 for some time now, that is why the CvD LSK recently decided to terminate the BRL 2003 with effect from 1-3-2025.

Termination BRL 2040

There have been no valid certificates for BRL 2040 for some time now, that is why the CvD LSK recently decided to terminate the BRL 2040 with effect from 1-3-2025.

BRL-K602 published binding

As of April, 21, 2023 a revised version of the Evaluation Guideline BRL-K602 is published binding.

BRL-K775 published for criticism

Effective July 2, 2024 the newly drawn up BRL-K775 is published for review and comments. BRL-K775 contains the requirements for a product certificate for "Universal fittings of ductile iron”.

Draft BRL K17504-04 published for comments

On the 16th of September 2024 Kiwa publishes the Draft Evaluation Guidelines BRL K17504/04 d.d. 27-05-2024; “Evaluation Guideline for the Kiwa product certificate for vulcanised rubber products for cold and hot drinking water applications” , for comments.

BRL-K14010 – part 3 published binding

Effective July 10, 2024 the revied BRL-2024 is published for review and comments. BRL 2024 contains the requirements for a product certificate for "Galvanized steel pipes for indoor sewage systems”.

BRL-K614 published for criticism

Effective July 2, 2024 the newly drawn up BRL-K614 is published for review and comments. BRL-K614 contains the requirements for a product certificate for "Fire hydrants”.
