BRL K14100 version 2025 declared binding

The new BRL K14100 for the Kiwa product certificate for "General requirements for products in contact with drinking and hot tap water" has been declared binding as of 7th of July 2025.

This BRL describes the general requirements for certification, such as:

  • The procedures for obtaining a quality declaration
  • The requirements for the quality system
  • The agreements on the implementation of certification

Products are certified according to the 'applicable' BRL, which will refer to the BRL K14100 for the above general requirements.

Note: The BRL K14100 is currently only available in Dutch. The English version is in progress. As soon as it is available it will be published on the Kiwa Website.
