BRL K536-L published for comments
The new evaluation guideline BRL K536-L (Kiwa) for “Plastics piping systems with metal inner layer intended for transport of hot and cold drinking water inside buildings” has been published for comments.
The plastics pipes with metal inner layer and fittings according to this new BRL K536-L are intended to be applied in piping systems inside buildings for hot and cold drinking water distribution at a design pressure (= maximum operating pressure) of 8 or 10 bar and in accordance with class 2 of ISO 10508.
BRL K536-L has been added to the existing Kiwa BRL K536-series for piping systems within this application (distribution of hot and cold drinking water inside buildings).

Evaluation guideline changes
An evaluation guideline or ‘Beoordelingsrichtlijn’ (BRL) is a package of requirements that a product or service can meet to demonstrate a certain guarantee of quality and legality. Kiwa offers BRLs in various subject areas. The requirements in a BRL are drawn up by an independent Board of Experts. A product or service is assessed by Kiwa on the basis of those requirements. When we introduce a new BRL or when a BRL changes, we will publish these BRL's.
