Kiwa’s EMC lab in Apeldoorn is equiped with start-of-the-art facilities to test the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of a wide range of electronic devices. The laboratory has three anechoic rooms and five shielded rooms, each with a specific set-up.

Kiwa expands IECEE scope with electrical safety testing for medical devices
Kiwa Netherlands has expanded its IECEE scope with electrical safety testing for medical equipment. This strengthens Kiwa’s position as a partner for manufacturers that want to bring medical products to the international market. In addition to the existing accreditation for EMC testing in accordance with the CB scheme, Kiwa can now also assess the electrical safety of medical equipment.
Transfer of Kiwa Road Testing activities to KOAC
As of 2 April 2026, Kiwa’s Road Testing activities in The Netherlands, including the associated consultancy services, will be continued by KOAC Road Testing & Consultancy B.V.
