Secondment
Receive a quote tailored to your needs
Kiwa can station quality controllers on request at companies that store and transship, sort and pack and process fruit and vegetables. For example, in case of illness, vacation or a seasonal peak, our inspectors can be seconded for a short or longer term.
Our inspectors are motivated, independent, have good communication skills and hold several fruit and vegetable inspector diplomas. In addition, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to checking Dutch and imported fresh produce, so that they can easily participate in your team.
Shelf life study/benchmark
Fruit and vegetable companies can turn to Kiwa for the quality assessment of products during a fixed period under specific conditions. This shelf life check provides insight into how the quality of products develops over time. This can also be done in a benchmark in which comparable products of different origin, variety, suppliers and in different packaging are compared with each other.
Vendor ratings
As an independent third party, Kiwa can determine the quality of fresh produce in distribution centers (DCs) and shops for retailers, including by means of periodic visits (monitoring). During the visits, the fresh produce are (visually) assessed and tested against (purchase) specifications. In addition, each assessment is assigned a quality mark.
