A fast and reliable solution

You have developed an innovative product or service and you want to give your customer the confidence that your product or service meets strict quality requirements. A certificate gives that confidence. However, usual certification (a BRL) is not possible. A covenant offers the solution for this. This new quality guarantee can be arranged relatively quickly. A Kiwa covenant can be ready within three to four months. This depends on the duration of any tests. The development of a BRL takes about one to two years and a European standard even five to seven years.

 

Procedure

There is a four-step procedure to obtain a Kiwa Covenant:

    In cooperation with the Kiwa certification assessor the unique properties of your products are set and described;
    These product porperties are assessed against the claimed requirements and documented;
    After mutual agreement of the contents the Covenant can be issued;
    Kiwa will carry out quality audits of the product and process according to the agreed frequency for maintaining the Covenant.
