For this specific control technology, new quality requirements have been developed within the Specific Certification Programme ‘K21045 – SCP04 Control & Indicating Equipment and Control for Automatic Fire Protection Equipment and Fire Protection Systems Based on Solid Bound Compound (SBC) Generators’.
The K21045-SCP04 Specific Certification Programme provides guidelines for central control equipment used with generators that produce their own extinguishing media.

SCP04 is implemented on the basis of the testing, inspection, and certification scheme ‘K21045 Fire Protection Systems’ and defines the requirements applied by Kiwa when assessing applications for product certification.

This scheme is internationally applicable for the testing, inspection, and certification of fire protection systems.
